(literally) During the New Year, I've decided to study Korean resolutely!

(naturally) My New Year's resolution is to study Korean.

(literally) What kind of plans do you have for the New Year?*

*In the sense of "Do you have any New Year resolutions?"

나는 xyz하기로 다짐했어, 결심했어.

I decided to "xyz." (for the New Year)

성공적으로: successfully

성공하다: to succeed

주사를 맞다: to get a shot; to be vaccinated

민간요법: home remedy; folk remedy; a remedy that's been passed on

미신: superstition; urban legend

입학 등록금 / 입학금: registration fee; registration fee

등록금: tuition

major: 전공

넌 무슨 전공이에요? / 전공이 뭐예요?

해결하다: to solve
